Jimmy moved through slums seeking prey. Not his favorite hunting ground, just the easiest.

Flickering motion off to one side. ? He turned his head. Damn. Someone else’s territory.

He nodded, heading over to join the other hunter.

“Sorry, didn’t know.” He shrugged with a crooked grin. “You know, (a)fter one look at this planet any visitor from outer space would say ‘I want to see the manager.’”

His companion laughed.
